Toronto, Ont., Canada, Feb. 5, 2026 — The Ontario government is investing $1,157,000 in Rna Diagnostics – a clinical-stage molecular diagnostics company – through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC). The funding will help Rna Diagnostics advance development and commercialization of its Veridapt DX™ laboratory test services.
Veridapt DX™ is a real-time molecular diagnostic test platform that aims to help oncologists evaluate tumour response and adjust treatment accordingly during neoadjuvant chemotherapy to improve outcomes for cancer patients.
“The financial assistance from the NOHFC will enable our world class laboratory in Sudbury to accelerate the adoption of Veridapt DX™ test services by cancer clinics in Canada, the U.S. and the EU,” said John Connolly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Rna Diagnostics.
“This funding will help us enhance the lab’s customer service capabilities and meet regulatory and reimbursement requirements in Canadian, U.S. and European markets for the Veridapt DX™ launch.”
Veridapt DX™ is currently being evaluated in the BREVITY (Breast Cancer Response Evaluation for Individualized Therapy) clinical trial.
BREVITY Phase 1 results demonstrated a strong capability (Negative Predictive Value >93%) to predict therapy efficacy during treatment to personalize patient care.
BREVITY Phase 2, an international prospective trial involving cancer centres in seven countries, is currently under way with enrollment (~650 early breast cancer patients) expected to close in early 2026.
The Company expects a readout of the BREVITY Phase 2 results in late 2026.
