Toronto, Ont., Canada, Feb. 6, 2025 – Rna Diagnostics, an innovative developer of a predictive biomarker technology for early-stage cancer care, is pleased to announce that Dr. Terry Mamounas, MD, MPH, FACS, one of the world’s foremost experts in breast cancer research, has joined the company’s Clinical Advisory Board.
Dr. Mamounas is the Medical Director of the breast program and research activities at AdventHealth Cancer Institute in Orlando, Fla. He has authored or co-authored more than 450 abstracts, manuscripts and book chapters, and given numerous presentations on breast cancer at various regional, national and international symposia.
Dr. Mamounas is Professor of Surgery at University of Central Florida and Clinical Professor of Clinical Sciences at Florida State University College of Medicine. His clinical research has focused on the surgical and adjuvant treatment of early-stage breast cancer. He is Chair of the NRG Oncology Breast Committee and past Chair of the NSABP Breast Committee, two of the largest and most influential cooperatives groups conducting international clinical trials in breast cancer. He has been a leader in many clinical trials that have changed clinical practice in breast cancer treatment.
